Looking for testers for the new cross platform RIOT that will run on Linux, Windows and hopefully Mac. With enough request, Android too.
It’s going to be a complete rewrite, will support multi-threading , localization, dark/light themes, and will be one of the most efficient optimizers both in resulting filesize and resource usage. The focus has shifted to batch and automatic settings, but the compare mode and manual control is still there.
The screen captures are from the Linux version. I switched to Linux for many years and honestly I don’t regret it. I encourage you do do the same.

Most of new RIOT functionality will remain free, but for some advanced features or commercial usage a premium version will be available. For some this may be a good news, because this means no more ads on the website when the new version will be oficially released.

If you want to be the first to test the preliminary version and help the development, please reply here, leave your email and I will contact you, or contact me directly at [email protected].
It’s gonna be a native app not Electron or those inefficient web- based apps. The technologies used are: C/C++, Golang, QT for UI. Pure performance and simplicity, like RIOT was always about.
A linux server version is developed too
